Starbuck Middle School is located on Racine's west side at 1516 Ohio Street. Starbuck was named after Racine publisher Frank R. Starbuck. It opened as a junior high school in 1968. Currently a middle school, the school serves 850 students in sixth, seventh and eighth grades. Most summers, students also attend summer school classes at Starbuck. In addition to its regular education population, Starbuck also houses a number of special education classes.

Starbuck continues its proud tradition of offering quality education programs to Racine families and their middle schoolers.

  • End of 1st Quarter The end of the first quarter is Thursday, October 30th.  There will be no school on Friday, October 31st due to  staff development.

  • Parent/Teacher Conferences Parent/Teacher conferences are rapidly approaching.  There will be school on Monday, November 24, 2014; but that will be the final day for the week.  Parent/Teacher conferences will be held on Monday, November 24, 2014 from 5:00 - 8:00 PM; on Tuesday, November 25, 2014 from 8:00 - 11:00 AM and from 1:00 - 3:00 PM and on Wednesday, November 26, 2014 from 8:00 - 11:00 AM.  Thursday and Friday will be Thanksgiving Break.
